Exception OnReceiveData Error

description

"Exception OnReceiveData Error:Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host."

This is the only error message I receive and I have no idea whats causing this. I seem to get disconnected ever few minutes.

Ok, this issue is usually caused by a firewall. Please check that your firewall isnt blocking Icechat's outgoing connection. Also, check your router if you have one.

If this doesnt help you then the problem may be on the IRC server.

The error clearly states the problem "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.", so as it says, the connection was refused.

It simply means it has lost a connection to the server.

Just a lot of techno babbled and some extra message added for my own debugging purposes, in case it is needed.
